Accessibility

Web accessibility refers to the inclusive practice of removing barriers that prevent interaction with, or access to websites, by people with disabilities. When sites are correctly designed, developed and edited, all users have equal access to information and functionality.

We take accessibility seriously to ensure that all users are able to view and use our website. The procedures and systems which we have put in place ensure the following:

  • All of the images used have alternative text applied so screen-readers are able to interpret their content
  • The website template uses appropriate mark-up to identify key content, such as the header, navigation items and content areas
  • A clear sans-serif font has been chosen, and its size can be scaled up or down in the browser to improve the experience for those with sight problems
  • All of the page titles and significant content is signified by header tags, which signpost important content and landmarks for screen-readers

If you have any issues with accessing this site, please contact us and we will work with you to make sure that you are able to.
